Poverty is a spirit. It is not a way of life. It is not a lifestyle or sign of holiness. When you are poor, you don’t resemble God. Poverty is a resemblance of the devil. The devil’s plan is to contain the glory of God in your life. When God created Abraham He put His glory upon him and he is a resemblance of God. 

The devil does not want man to reflect the glory of God. He is the source of poverty. Poverty also reflects no vision or low vision. Stinginess is one of the manifestations of the spirit of poverty which the devil uses to perpetuate people under that stronghold. Stinginess also works as a territorial spirit.
